These Auction Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in auctions on www.Asprey.com ("Website"). By participating in an auction on our Website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before participating.
You are entering into a contract with Asprey London Limited, 34/36 Bruton Street, London. W1J 6QX.
Eligibility to Participate
To participate in an auction on the Website, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, and / or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Have a valid and active account on the Website
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Auction Registration
- You are required to register an account with the Website before participating in an auction.
- By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
Auction Listings
- All auction listings are subject to availability. Auction items are listed by Asprey and may be removed at any time.
- Descriptions and images provided for each auction lot are for informational purposes only.
- Auction items may be subject to reserve prices, which are the minimum price Asprey will accept.
Pre-sale estimates
- Pre-sale estimates are intended as a guide for bidders and prospective buyers. In our opinion, any bid between the low and high pre-sale estimates would offer a chance of success. However, lots can realize prices above or below the pre-sale estimates. It is advisable to check the pre-sale estimates prior to submission of a bid as estimates can be subject to revision. Please note that the estimates do not include any premium or VAT.
- Although the sale is conducted in the local currency from where the sale is taking place, the pre-sale estimates in some cases may also be published in other currencies. The rate of exchange is calculated at the time of payment. Therefore, you should treat the estimates in any other currencies as a guide only and you should not rely on the estimate as a precise invoice amount. Asprey assumes no responsibility for any error or omission in any foreign currency amounts published. Bidders are recommended to check the latest exchange rates before bidding.
Prohibited Activities
By participating in auctions on the Website, you agree not to:
- Engage in fraudulent bidding activity.
- Place bids that you do not intend to honour.
- Use automated tools or bots to place bids or interfere with the operation of the auction.
- Violate any laws or infringe on any third-party rights.
Asprey’s Right to Cancel or Modify Auctions
Asprey reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify an auction at its discretion for any reason, including but not limited to technical issues or fraudulent activity.
If an auction is cancelled, all bids will be void, and no contracts will be formed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asprey is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in auctions, including but not limited to the loss of profits, loss of data, or any other harm.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Asprey, its affiliates, employees, officers, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of your violation of these Terms, your participation in an auction, or your use of the website.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Any disputes related to these Terms or your participation in auctions on the Website will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation.
Modifications to the Terms
Asprey reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any material changes, and your continued participation in auctions after such changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Can I pick up my item in-store?
No, all items will be shipped via insured courier service only.
How will my item be shipped?
Items will be shipped via trusted couriers with guaranteed delivery services and full insurance.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are included in the final auction price.
When will I receive my item?
Items are typically delivered within 14 days of confirmed payment. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination.
Is insurance included in shipping?
Yes, all shipments are fully insured during transit.
Who is responsible for shipping?
Asprey is responsible for arranging and dispatching shipments in accordance with the agreed terms. While we aim for timely delivery, exact dates cannot be guaranteed.
Do international buyers have to pay customs or taxes?
Yes, international buyers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees.
Can I return or cancel my auction purchase?
All auction sales are final unless explicitly stated otherwise. No returns or cancellations will be accepted.
